WorldMark Kihei

My wife and I just returned to California, from our Maui vacation. We stayed at the WorldMark in Kihei. We had an upper floor unit with a view of the ocean. We could sit on the deck and watch beautiful sunsets. The beach was a short walk down the street. Most people rent cars here. We relied on Uber transportation. A tour bus that stopped there, took us on the road to Hana tour. A short drive away is a luxurious hotel you can explore with shops nearby. The best place we found to shop for food was Foodland, located nearby. The weather was very warm and windy. We really enjoyed our stay here.

I had a really great stay at this condo in Kihei. The location truly couldn’t be better — the beach is directly across the street, and it’s centrally located within walking distance to so many restaurants and bars. It’s also right across from the ABC Store, which made grabbing snacks, drinks, and essentials super convenient. The condo itself was very comfortable. The bed was great, and having a washer and dryer in the unit was such a huge plus — especially for beach clothes and towels. It made the whole trip feel easy and stress-free. The staff were amazing and the grounds of the property are absolutely beautiful and well maintained. The pool area is really nice and a great spot to relax after a day in the sun. It’s not the fanciest place in the world, but it’s clean, comfortable, and in an unbeatable location. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Beautiful location. It is easy walk to the beach and wonderful staff . Rooms have kitchens + washers and dryers too. Very clean + comfortable. The heated pool + spa are nice when the ocean is too windy to enjoy. Big bonus- just outside the resort is an AMAZING shaved ice van + yummy food truck to enjoy. The ABC store is a 1 minute walk for all your essentials and up just another minute or two is Hawaiian Moons Natural Food store which cannot be missed for healthier options, natural remedies, and ready made clean eats.

Our 10 day stay in Oct 25 was good - the rooms were very clean - never encountered any cockroaches ( some reviews complained about cockroaches) Our room was an updated unit - my only complaint is the new furniture was extremely uncomfortable! there was a loveseat size couch that was like sitting on cardboard- there was a chair with the same problem .Outside on the Lanai, there were a metal table and chairs without any cushions. Very uncomfortable. The only place to really sit that was comfortable was the bed . Anyway, it is pretty obvious the furniture was very cheap - they really need to get rid of it and start over in that department. Otherwise, we had a nice stay - Maui is our favorite island- Kihei was nice - people are nice- very relaxing vibe !

We stayed for one week in September, we had a great time. The location is nice, right next to the beach. Resort workers are friendly and ready to help you. But one issue cockroach in the room but not a lot.

This review is based on annual visits from the last 20 years. We've stayed in the studio, 1, 2, and 3 bedroom accomodations. Our visits are usually 1 to 2 months long. Of the WorldMark properties, this Kihei is one of the largest. It's centrally located along Kihei's coast. It's across the street from Kamala Beach The entire staff is friendly and efficient. The maintenance and cleaning crew members are constantly buzzing around the resort performing their duties. Considering the size of the resort and the number of guests coming and going, the staff has always done a great job making the resort comfortable. Fortunately, this property is constantly being renovated and maintained. It's high volume of visitors can take a toll on the rooms and facilities if the maintenance weren't attended to. Over the years, we've noticed the rooms are constantly being renovated. The furnishings are replaced regularly, fixtures are upgraded. It almost seems as though revitalization projects are consistently being done around the property. The rooms reflect a comfortable but utilitarian purpose. They're not the luxury accomodations (with plush carpets , sofas, and window dressings that are difficult and expensive to clean, maintain, and/or replace) that one might find in the resort in Wailea or Ka'anapali. However, they are perfect for visitors who are looking for a clean, quiet, and comfortable place to relax, rest, and recharge after a day out visiting Maui's attractions. The common areas are well maintained. The grills are gas operated and have recently been replaced and upgraded. The pool and gym areas are also well maintained. They're constantly attended to by staff. While the area around the pools are usually buzzing with activities and play, pool hours regulate the noise to reasonable hours of the day. They gym is equipped with basic exercise machines and free weights. Towels, water cooler, and television monitors are also provided. There is plenty of parking around the resort buildings.

We were there in September, room was clean, air conditioning worked well. Pool was refreshing, can't walk barefoot anywhere, too hot. Food trucks came later in the day, lots of activities close by.

Great location and a very nice, spacious and clean unit. The staff was friendly, and always provided kitchen, bathroom and laundry supplies when needed. There are several areas to BBQ, a beach just across the street and lots of restaurants and shops close by... some are very walkable.
